Fan Factory applies a minimum threshold for displaying data. This is in line with generally accepted standards for employee surveys, such as ESOMAR, as well as applicable privacy legislation.

Can my organization see the answers I have given?

No, your organization cannot see this. For each question or statement, your organization will only see the average score for your team, department or location, provided that at least 5 colleagues have completed the Fan Scan.

Percentages and open-ended answers are only displayed for groups of 15 employees or more. Answers to different questions are not linked to each other in your organisation’s dashboard.

Can my organization see the answers I have given?

No.  Fan Factory will never disclose your individual answers.

However, answers to open-ended questions may be displayed verbatim in the report for your team, department or location if your organisation has purchased this reporting option. This report is only displayed for groups of five people or more.

My team only consists of three people. Is there any point in completing the Fan Scan?

Scores are not displayed for teams consisting of only three people.

Organisations often choose to combine smaller teams with another suitable team. This means your feedback can still be included in the organisation’s overall results.

In addition, you will receive your own personal report, which gives you insights you can use to take steps towards becoming more engaged and motivated at work.

How did Fan Factory obtain my personal data?

Your organisation provided the necessary data for the Fan Scan.

This data is only used to send you an invitation, provide you with your personal report and assign you to the appropriate groups.

Does my organization know whether I have completed the Fan Scan?

Fan Factory will never disclose at individual employee level whether someone has completed the Fan Scan.

The only information your organisation can see is the percentage of employees within a team who have completed the Fan Scan.
